Jacques Loupiac, owner of La Panetière
Restaurant, comes from a long line of bakers who have made their
living selling pastries in the south of France. In 1986, Jacques
moved to Rye, New York to open La Panetière Restaurant.
In love with the memories of his childhood in the French countryside, Jacques dreamed of giving New York a similar destination and felt Westchester was the premier location – with its proximity to New York and abundance of seasonal, fresh local ingredients and beautiful landscapes.
